According to global OTT platform Rakuten Viki on April 18, 2024, tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama Lovely Runner rose to number 1 in 133 countries, including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, India, and others in its first week of airing.
On Rakuten Viki, the drama not only earned a high score of 9.8 but also received many positive reviews from viewers, such as “A perfect drama that has everything, from great acting, great storyline to amazing chemistry”, “The subtle emotional acting of Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok made me even more immersed in their love triangle that has lasted more than 15 years”, and others.
Synopsis of Lovely Runner
Lovely Runner is a time travel drama that revolves around famous idol Ryu Sun Jae (played by Byeon Woo Seok) who has given up on life and die-hard fan Im Sol (played by Kim Hye Yoon) who is devastated by the death of her favorite idol.
However, Im Sol is sent 15 years into the past, trying to change fate and save Ryu Sun Jae who also once saved his life.
Of course, Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon are not only both starring in this drama, who will be their co-stars, Song Geon Hee and Lee Seung Hyub.
